My path: I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the Assistant Stylist program and be mentored by a top-performing stylist, Deja. She set me up with the proper tools to become successful. I received great education on techniques, products, and how to establish my business mindset for continuous growth. I exceeded $80K in services sales in 2024, my second year. I loved the idea of working in a close-knit salon that encouraged collaboration. I knew I would be supported as I began my career. I was also drawn to the vibrant personalities and diversity I saw in my location. In my technical interview, I saw stylists working with all types of hair and doing everything from blondes to curls to vivids, so I knew no matter what I wanted to specialize in, Ulta Beauty had it. Belonging: It's easy to say we want a space to be inclusive and then not follow it up with action. Ulta Beauty is making room every day for more friends to come to the party.
