My why: I was drawn to Ulta Beauty right aer the pandemic. I needed change and stability. I knew a corporate salon should be my next move. I was drawn to unlimited salon guests and potential financial gain, as well as the possibility for in-store promotions and continued education. My business: My passion, drive, and dedication as a stylist, paired with Ulta Beauty resources, education and expertise, powered me to Elite Stylist status by the end of my first year and to exceed $100K in annual services dollars the year aer. Now in year three, I've been promoted to the SDE for our new Rio Grande Valley District. I still work as a stylist one day a week but also travel to train and support Ulta Beauty stylists in salons in my district. Belonging: I am excited for this continuing journey of growth and open to what's to come. It's true: e possibilities are beautiful. TARA GLODOWSKY Elite Stylist | New Jersey 10 years with Ulta Beauty My path: I became licensed 11 years ago and am grateful to have spent 10 years growing and developing my skills with Ulta Beauty. I have fond memories shopping as a young girl with my mother at the same Ulta Beauty where I now work. For the past three years, I've exceeded $100K in annual services dollars. My why: Aer cosmetology school, I earned a spot in the Assistant Stylist program at that same Ulta Beauty. I knew it was the place for me. My mentor was Barbra Rae Cataldo. She guided me beyond the basics and helped me while I put my skills into action. I still value her support. I also value how Ulta Beauty takes care of me as a professional, providing health care and benefits to fit my lifestyle. Belonging: I am strong as an individual, but what makes me shine is coming together as a team. GRACE FISHER Master Stylist | Michigan 3 years with Ulta Beauty My path: I was led to Ulta Beauty by a former coworker who reached out about an Assistant Stylist position. I felt very lost at my former salon and needed a transition to better my cra. Aer completing the six-month Assistant Stylist program, I was promoted to Master Stylist just one year later. Education: I value all the continuing education Ulta Beauty provides through Ulta Academy. I attend every Trendspiration class to stay energized and aware behind the chair and to keep advancing my skills. I appreciate being able to work and collaborate with stylists with a wide variety of expertise. It pushes me to become a better stylist. My business: I love the extra benefits Ulta Beauty gives clients. Whether being able to use loyalty points toward services or just shopping around while their color processes, my guests appreciate these perks. It has really helped me retain my clients and build my business behind the chair. Belonging: Ever since I started working at Ulta, I immediately felt welcomed by my coworkers in the salon, the beauty advisors, and our managers. e camaraderie within our salon is something I value the most, being so close and tight-knit helps us all grow together.
