I was recently given a similar reminder of adding
to my skills when I spent three days enriching my soul
in a yin yoga teacher training. I sat in stillness with
17 other people, learning about posing, sequencing,
traditional Chinese medicine, and anatomy. I wasn't
researching beauty trends or nerding out over language
like I do as the editor of this publication, but this three-
day adventure gave me a chance to get unstuck and
add something new to my skill set. I'm going to carry
those lessons and intentions with me in everything I
do. at's the magic of life: We can always keep adding
to it. Keep striving to be the best version of yourself as
you learn and grow. I promise I'll be doing the same.
