34 indie stylist Volume 4 Issue 2 STEP 1: PREP Cleanse the brow area using Elleebana Makeup Remover on a cotton round or pad. With the client's eyes closed, gently but thoroughly cleanse the brow area to remove makeup, products, and natural oils. If required, do a double cleanse. Lightly rinse the brows with warm water to remove any remaining Elleebana Makeup Remover and dry thoroughly with a tissue or cotton round. ELLEEPLEX PROFUSION BROW LAMINATION PROTOCOL STEP 2: LAMINATE Gently paint the Step 1 Lamination Lotion on the brow hairs with a doe-foot applicator or application brush. Clean any excess lotion around the brows. Place Brow Lamination Wrap over the brows and process for 4–10 minutes, depending on the strength of the client's brows. For very strong hair, you may wish to leave it on longer than 10 minutes. However, this may increase the chances of skin irritation. Check the hairs to see how they are processing about halfway through your timer for each brow. See if the hairs are becoming malleable, then replace the wrap. When the timer has nished and the hairs are ready, remove the wrap and wipe off all the lotion using a dry cotton bud. STEP 3: SET + RE-GEN NEXT GEN Combine the Step 2 Setting Lotion with Re-GEN Next Gen in a ratio of eight parts Step 2 Setting Lotion to one part Re-GEN. Adding the Re-GEN Next Gen is optional but will help achieve beautiful results. Use a Wonder Wand to gently comb the Step 2 Setting Lotion onto the brow hairs in the new brow shape, being careful not to change the direction of the hair more than 45 degrees. Clean any excess lotion off the skin with a dry cotton bud, place the Brow Lamination Wrap over the brows, and process for 4–8 minutes. The Step 2 Setting Lotion should always take the same length of time as Step 1 Setting Lotion, or 1–2 minutes less. 1 2 3
