I love helping other stylists with any questions about delivering a wow service behind the chair. Next year will be my 11-year anniversary as a stylist at Ulta Beauty. By participating in Ulta Academy classes, my confidence level has gone up so much because I know how to deliver great work and service. What advice do you have for stylists who feel stuck? Surround yourself with people who care about you and want to see you win. Have fun challenging yourself to step outside your comfort zoneāthat's the only way you will know what you truly want to do. I have an opportunity to give the highest quality of service available in an industry that is full of salons that value speed over care and accuracy. I also have the chance to help new stylists come to their full potential, while still being able to make a living. What inspires you as a stylist? This comes from my children. I love being able to show them I can make a living in a creative job doing what I love. What advice do you have for stylists who want to grow? Be reliable, be on time, and take walk-ins, even if it means you may be 15 minutes late when leaving for the day.
