It brings me so much joy to share what I have learned over the years. Watching others excel gives me the fire I need to continue my personal growth. How has Ulta Beauty supported your growth? As much as I would like to say, "I did it on my own," I cannot! Ulta Beauty has recognized my growth and success throughout my career here. When our field and leadership teams take time out of their day to congratulate me on something, it means the world. We feel like we are seen and we matter here. I have never felt like just an employee. What advice do you have for stylists who feel stuck? Feeling stuck means you want more! It shows that you care about what you do and that you should not give up. I would encourage all stylists to reach for the stars. Try something new. Look for new inspiration or extra education to set you apart. Keishla Rivera Elite Stylist What do you love about your role? It makes me feel accomplished. I put my trust into Ulta's business model, and it helped me build my book and made it easy for me to control my paycheck every week. I stay because I truly love my clientele and I can continue my education through Ulta Academy. I love that as a company, we value diversity and inclusion. What inspires you as a stylist? What inspires me to be a stylist is making my guests feel confident, building genuine connections with my clientele, and making them feel welcomed and accepted. What advice do you have for stylists who want to grow? Be open to ongoing education, have flexible schedules, and learn about your products so you can better assist guests and give a wow experience.
