I am also inspired by training/ education, growth, and development. Ulta love: I came to Ulta because I was inspired by a stylist who spoke at my cosmetology school back in 2009. I wanted to go to a salon where I could quickly build a clientele, and Ulta was a great place to start with the amount of retail shoppers I could engage with. I love Ulta because of our culture and the ability to continue to grow and advance in my career. Advice for professionals who feel stuck: Continue feeding what inspires you—and keep elevating! Don't be afraid to make a change for the better, step outside of your comfort zone, or embrace new ideas! Nicki Smith Master Stylist @niicollettaa_ Inspiration: I find inspiration from my teammates and other salon professionals who are passionate about their career in cosmetology. Ulta love: I love working for this amazing company that is constantly pushing me to achieve goals and grow—not only as a hairstylist but as a person. I was drawn to Ulta for its limitless possibilities to grow my career. Advice for new professionals: My advice for new professionals is to never stop learning and practicing your trade. Advice for professionals who feel stuck: My advice for seasoned professionals feeling stuck is to get involved with new and exciting classes. Our industry is constantly changing, which means there are always new classes to help reignite creativity.
