In 1951, she opens Mollie's Barber Shop. 1950s—Lillian Beckley Wheeler opens Mrs. Wheeler's Barber Shop in the Dahlia Square Shopping Center in Denver, Colorado, once touted as the nation's largest Black-owned shopping center. "The Scene at Mrs. Wheeler's Barber Shop." Denver, CO. A lady barber cuts a man's hair in a modern salon.
