N ot a m e m b e r ? J o i n at a s so c iate d h a i rp rofe s sio n a ls .c o m 3 Spring Into Action Spring has finally arrived! Time to breathe in the crisp air and up freshen up your space, your services, and your perspective. Shay Dempsey, creative artist for Sebastian Professional and this issue's cover stylist, shares what drives his creativity and fuels his passion. His perspective on social media and creative inspiration is bold. It made me sit back and think about my own desire for admiration and approval. He advises stylists to "be your own museā€”be the influencer" and "surround yourself with good artists, good people. Your followers will find you." Authentic seems to be the buzzword of the day in marketing circles, but essentially this is exactly what Dempsey is advising. I'm going to take his advice to heart and commit to living each day as my most authentic self, and I hope you will too. Enjoy the issue.
